I gave my nine year old grand-daughter a birthday card, and she asked her mom to read it because it used cursive which is no longer taught. My heart shriveled at this reveal. How did we get here? How do we flip it? I think it is imperative that we take matters into our own hands, and stop depending on the "government" to provide us with what we need.
