Conversation with the creator of the project "Putinism"

The website "Putinism as it is" , which arose in 2015, was conceived as an encyclopedia of the Putin regime. It publishes articles on the dark sides of the president's biography, about his colossal business, about fabulously rich friends and "infantrymen", about how Putin took part in the life of the "bandit Petersburg".

The author of these fascinating articles was not known until today. For the first time the creator of the site "Putinism" Artem Kruglov decided to tell about his investigations.

• Artem, how did the project "Putinism" come about? What are its goals?

• The main reason was the desire to understand who Putin really is and the regime he built in Russia. Unfortunately, the real picture is still not fully known, much is hidden, deliberately confused by propaganda. Although the mystification of the dictator's biography is probably the property of any dictatorship.

• What is Putinism? Is it an ideology, like Leninism?

• You pay attention, first of all, to the events of the 90s, when Putin did not even think about the president's chair. The skeptic will say: it was a long time ago, it was such a time, but now Putin is a completely different person. What will you answer him?

• What is the 90's? This is the time when Putin first appeared power. He came into politics, became vice-mayor of St. Petersburg, at that time - the criminal capital of Russia. Power is a test, a person reveals himself in many ways, reveals what was previously hidden, suppressed. And how did he reveal what kind of people he was doing?
