Superstitious Beliefs in Our Life

in #psychology8 years ago

I don’t really like the term “superstition” but it could not be denied that the majority of ancient beliefs are nothing like a compilation of our forefathers’ experience and some “signs” which are intended to develop intuition.

The attitude to superstitions can differ. One follows customs from ancient ages, and another thinks that superstitious beliefs are something alien and even beneath notice.

There’s also the statement that one or another superstition becomes “a warning sign” for a person only when he or she believes in it.  It is hoped that in this case the notion of belief itself is just a consequence of intuition appraising some statement’s appropriateness or invidiousness for a concrete person’s life.

However, even those who claim that they don’t believe in superstitions are also right. But their position is hold for only themselves because their intuition tells them that the current beliefs are just inoperative for them. It should be noted that such people rely on a range of their own individual “signs” which help them navigate problem situations.

It’s a deeply private matter to accept or not to accept the superstitions’ role in our lives. As well as to wear clothes sewing in lots or to prefer the custom tailoring and designer clothing.

Nevertheless, superstitions exist and many people confirm their existence on the basis of their own experience.

So, how do you relate to superstitious beliefs?
