"Changing The WORLD Is A Myth" -- Instead You have To Change Something Easier To Achieve Greater Results !
Ever since I was a kid, I was hearing this sentence every now and then - "I want to change the World". Why do people want to change this beautiful World? And the most important thing is - Are they capable of doing this ?
I don't think so. Changing the World is a myth, used by cunning politicians and leaders to get the support of their not-so-wise followers. They don't want to change the world, rather they want to change their world, if you know what I mean.
People don't realize the meaning of this sentence and even if they do, they don't want to work for it. Let's understand the meaning of this sentence with an example.
Few hundred years back, there was a king who ruled a prosperous and wealthy country. One day, he went for a trip to some distant areas of his country. When he was back to his palace, he told his advisors that his feet was hurting so badly, because it was the first time that he went for a long and tiring trip, and the road that he went through was very rough and stony. He then ordered his architects and labor to cover every road and every street of his country with pure leather so that he didn't have to suffer the similar fate again.
Definitely, this would need a huge amount of animals skin and would cost a huge amount of money. Then one of his wise advisor came forward and said, “Why do you have to spend that unnecessary huge amount of money? Why don’t you just cut a little piece of leather to cover your feet?”
The king was surprised after hearing this and later he accepted his suggestion and ordered this people to make a leather shoe for him, instead of covering all the roads with leather.
What is the conclusion of this example then ?
“To make this world a happy place to live, you better change yourself- your heart; your deeds, your thoughts and not the world.”
A person doesn't have to change the world on his own rather he has to purify his thoughts, clean his deeds, grow some kindness in his heart and use that brain of his to benefit the whole society. This is the way you can change yourself first, and slowly but greatly the World will also change.
