Eagles emanate power, majesty and magnificence. They are among the large powerful birds of prey, well equipped with hooked beaks, big wing spans and strong sharp claws to pick up their prey. Eagles are greatly admired as the soar through the sky with the their colossal wings. A number of species found around the world; 60 are from Europe, Asia and Africa, 2 in North America, 9 in Central and South American and 3 in Australia. Unfortunately I came across a dead eagle on a country road several years ago. It had obviously been on the road to eat road kill and could not take of in time when a truck came by. Such a terrible end for such a magnificent bird.

The bald eagle is the national emblem of the United States . It was chosen in 1782 for its longevity, strength and majesty.

When playing a fun game on assigning bird characteristics to personalities in a workplace, the eagle cannot be left of the list. This is because the eagle and leadership are synonymous. All workplaces, organisations or business enterprises must have leadership to succeed.. An individual with eagle traits is a visionary, to the point, has the ability to make decisions, is fearless and looks at all aspects of a situation.

Once you make a decision can you stand your ground? Part of being a leader is being able to pick the right kind of people to be on your staff.

Do you see yourself as having eagle traits? Or are you a mixture of dove or parrot with the eagle? Or maybe you are the fun loving social parrot. Check out previous posts if you have no idea what I am going on about.

Cheers
Have a happy day.

The eagle is truly the most majestic of birds. We have several around or house here in Maine. They do have amazing vision, and great speed and power. They have even been known to carry off small dogs, foxes and other prey you would never expect a bird to tackle. I definitely tried to be like an eagle back when I was still a business executive. Now, as a church organist (otherwise self-employed) I still do "lead" 300 people every weekend!

Thank you @mepatriot, you are right, our special qualities hold us in good stead after the workplace. I also have experienced this in my workplace and now in my life after work.

Here in Norway, reindeer owners get compensation every time the eagle takes a reindeer. For us ordinary people that have no experience with reindeer herding, it sounds like a scam for getting government money.

LOL...maybe. But I am sure they are taking tiny fawns, if any reindeer at all.

howdy there @angiemitchell! you are a combination I bet. I sure am. I'd like to be an Eagle but around a lot of people shyness kicks in. On Steemit I'm a Parrot. Gorgeous Eagle photo!

Is there a dove peacemaker a part of your make-up @janton?

oh yeah I forgot about the dove, yes a dove peacemaker is definitely part of my make up!
