Floods that are striking Houston and part of Texas these days were actually prophesied years ago by several Christians, I pick one of them - prophet Sadhu Sundar Selvaraj who was warning about that on July 27th 2015 because God always let His servants the prophets know in advance and they warn others.

For the Lord God does nothing without revealing his secret to his servants the prophets.

And some people want to listen, some don't. However unless repentance is global and serious, prophesied calamity will always come in certain strength. Flood that is already here cannot be taken back but future calamities can be if people make certain arrangements in their lives.

Houston these days

To see what is happening in Houston, there are some pictures from its streets. It's already worst Texas storm/flood in more than 50 years so far.

We can see this event through various perspectives. It's definitely disaster for people living there and if you watch it carefully such events are unfortunately happening all around the world at a given time (especially many places in China and south Asia were terribly impacted by floods during last year) and it's sad to see people suffering on any place.

Another aspect is this is that although this is a severe event, it's "only" a mitigated devastation without many casualties thanks to God's patience, mercy and many prayers of His people. It's not a total destruction of population and property (at least so far). It means there is still hope and opportunity for repentance and complete restoration. Houses can be replaced but people can not. And so it's important what stance will people have for a future.

Know for sure that such calamities cannot be avoided by any vain climate agreements signed by any pompous elites or by any construction upgrades (actually such a prideful acts are only calling for even worse events) but only by honest repentance of people and searching forgiveness in Jesus Christ. We should take God seriously before worse things happen as it will not be possible to test His patience forever.
