Steemit; proving its worth

With the emergence of steemit, many people who were not into cryptocurrencies are now becoming aware.
steemit does this by encouraging the masses most especially to participate in creating digital content that can benefit other users and it pays people in STEEM coin. By removing the middlemen and allowing users to gain directly from the steemit networks they participate in, Steemit could provide a roadmap to a more equitable social network

As a result of this, digital currencies are now making waves and becoming popular as the days goes by.
In just the fifth month of its emergence, steemit reached a 100,000 user milestone. And as at march 12 2018, steemit users have skyrocketed to about 820,000 users with more accounts waiting to be confirmed

Steemit is rapidly becoming the blogger’s favourite destination, with mainstream social media features recently added, and retention rates at an all time high. Its Blockchain, Steem, is now the second most used Blockchain by transaction volume after bitcoin.

We wait to see how long the steeemit platform with grow. But without overhyping it, I think the best is yet to come from this platform. Till then, let’s keep promoting this project
