SUPPORTING THE GROWTH OF THE EDUCATION MINDSET OF CHILDREN USING STEEMIT.

"Children are the world's future, and we need to take care of them like we would any precious resource." - Ziggy Marley. This is at the fore front of our objectives.. And we have started it by supporting the under privilaged children in education. A platform that will open different opportunities for them in the future.
We started this with providing scholastic materials which hinder their early reporting to school. As many schools can't admit a child who has no where to write and the materials to use in class.

We then moved on to check whether our small donation played a part in getting all of them in school early enough. Schools had opened 3 days back.. so we expected all of them to have started with classes since they had the scholastic materials to start with.

It was a bit of a challenge meeting all of them, as they are in different schools; Prince of Peace Junior school and Blue Nile Junior school. But all in all, we managed to meet most of them.
We interacted with the school heads about anything more these children require, and we were told they hadn't completed the fees. Which we are in the process of working on.

As we were interacting with the teachers, they got more inquisitive about the source of the funds we were using to finance the children's education. And this was an opportunity for us to sign up new users on the platform.

We Steemit team Uganda are privilaged to be fitting into steemit fast. There is a big progress in terms of new users joining the platform, the activity within steemit from team Uganda is getting higher and higher as we see a variety of steemit tools being used by the users. This has all come down to the cooperation and unity that is cemented in the team. And we feel steemit will play a much bigger role in uniting people in the community for a common cause of improving the child's education.
