BRIEF HISTORY OF OWERRI

Owerri is the capital of Imo State in Nigeria, set right in the heart of Igboland. Owerri has three Local Government Areas including Owerri Municipal, Owerri West and Owerri North .
It has an estimated population of about 1,101,873 as of 2016 and is approximately 40 sq mi in area. They are a people with great culture, color and diversity. And hold amazing festivals.

It is with great happiness and satisfaction that I announce to all the STEEMIANS on this great community and also STEEMIANS non- STEEMIANS from Owerri about this great and massive upcoming OWERRI STEEMIT MEETUP.

THE PURPOSE OF THIS MEETUP IS TO EXPOSE THE GOOD PEOPLE OF OWERRI AND IT'S ENVIRONS TO THE STEEM BLOCKCHAIN AND ALL THE LIMITLESS POSSIBILITIES IT CAN BRING.

I am exceptionally glad in reporting this because my first meet up which was at Ibadan was exceptional and a day I will never forget, and so I can't wait for the people of Owerri to experience that explosion..

Alot of preparations have been made towards the success of this program.
Securing the venue, equipments for wonderful presentations on that day and the lodging arrangements for those coming from far and can't travel back that same day.

Alot of thought of time has been put into this program to make it a success and it will by the special Grace of GOD.
