"Steemit is like a global village" [Explaining Steemit to outsiders]
This week, during one of my daily business accountability sessions with my friend Rakel Sosa, we both shared what we are working on right now.
I told her I'm creating another Steemit tutorial and ended up explaining to her, what Steemit actually is. I explained that you can earn from publishing content, but that there are also passive ways.
I also mentioned that Steemit can be hard work and needs to be approached like a business, in my view, if you want to be successful. But rather than using "online marketing" techniques, you need to connect and build relationships just like you would in a village, with actual people :)
After our conversation I thought, why not publish this on youtube and facebook, so that all the people who have never heard about Steemit before, will become aware of it?
