Promo-steem update, and a bit of info about what's coming next....!
Update on what's going on with promo-steem and our new initiative oracle-D.
Some of you will have noticed I've been pretty quiet for the last couple of weeks. This is partly because I've been in Cyprus with @starkerz at the brilliant Icoin Summit, which frankly was one of the most mind-blowing weeks I've ever had!
I wanted to just give a quick update on some of the things that are happening promo-steem wise, particularly in relation to what's happening with @steem-ambassador, so that the community has a good idea of what's going on, and how we are focussing on improving the system, ironing out problems and taking it forward.
1. PROMO-STEEM UPDATES
Firstly, we are aware of a couple of small technical issues with the steem-ambassador CAMPUS guild which came up whilst Starkerz and myself were away in cyprus. We have debugged them, and are onto fixing them as we speak.
Secondly, we are also aware of the Spam issue with low quality posts. We are about to test and deploy some ways to combat this and will be releasing more updates very soon.
Thirdly, we are working a team of very notable promo-steemians to develop our website to the next level and make it easier for steem ambassadors to do curation, as well as making it somewhere that is the go-to place for all content creators involved in promo-steem activities.
Finally, we are also close to launching an automated reward system for steem ambassadors and delegators. Basically, we are in the place of finishing up all the outstanding things that we have wanted to build into the system, and it's taken some time, as these things always do at the start of a project.
Now onto some even more exciting stuff:
2. ORACLE-D : EXTERNAL INVESTMENT INTO STEEM COMMUNITIES
Some of you will be aware that we are working very hard on developing our next project, called Oracle-D which is focussed on bringing in external investment from outside of the blockchain.
As mentioned before, we spent a week out in Cyprus last week, and spoke at the Icoin Summit. What came out of that is nothing short of incredible..... even we didn't really expect the sort of engagement we had from it. Literally investors were queuing up to speak to us about the possibilities of engaging with communities on the STEEM blockchain to create some truly awesome opportunities...and this will be of great interest to those voluntaryists who already get the promo-steem model and how it works to support us all.
We are currently involved in high level negotiations with a number of investors, and we are pleased to report that the promo-steem model is the forerunner of something that is going to bring lots of investment and projects into the blockchain, to build and reward communities all over the world.
Some of these projects which we have immediately identified include:
* Get paid to play online massive multiplayer online video games
* High quality content creation work rewarded by new pots of STEEM
* Rewards for reviewing ICO's and other proof-of-brain activities
* Huge humanitarian projects
* IP and brand improvement for world-class sportspeople and celebrities
* Building whole new communities around interesting blockchain projects
* Utilising the STEEM blockchain to develop sustainable businesses in the developing world
Let me reiterate this.... we are keen to bring in new money into the STEEM blockchain, and be leaders in @ned's vision to bring about whole new business ecosystems. This means that we won't be reliant upon trying to catch the attention of whales to support what we do, and instead build fully sustainable and well-funded community projects which raise the value of STEEM both in terms of price and utility.
I expect that many of you who are currently involved in promo-steem will find a great deal of benefit here in terms of things that you can get involved in which ultimately make the STEEM blockchain even more attractive to investors, and which generates huge amounts of community collaboration.
Even if you are not a promo-steem follower, there are going to be some great opportunities to build significant businesses and opportunities here on the STEEM blockchain that reward lots of people for real-world activities.

Finally, let me say this. We cannot do this on our own. We need help. We have had a lot of people already come to us with offers of their assistance to get it going, and we are very grateful to each and every one of them for this.
Ultimately, we are trying to build something very new and unique, and we are aware that some people may think we have been quiet for a little while. It is literally because of the sheer amount of work that is going on in the background, and as we build the team, negotiate with clients, set up the projects, build the brand, do all of the legal stuff, develop the tech and everything else that goes with it, we are literally flat out at the moment.
So if you try to get in touch and we don't answer straight away, please don't feel that we are ignoring you. We are just so unbelievably busy, that we can't get around everything straight away.

I hopely all technical issues can be resolved soon and a lot of renewable updates on this platform. with an amazing system so that the promo-steem activities get the right target curation.
Our dev team is expanding. It makes things so much easier! And frankly, they're all loads better than I am at the technical side, which is great because it's allowing me time to focus more with @starkerz on developing the projects.
What I concern at the moment is that we need somebody like you, @starkerz, @ned, and @stephankendal to come to my country and present the best about steem blockchain and its benefit for the future. We need to have a breakthrough to open the mindset, we dont have good and huge events about blockchain in Indonesia. Only once and none from Steemit came to present. As I also said to @starkerz, come to Indonesia and lets do something to one of the most populous internet and social media users in the world, Indonesia.
Well, I personally would love to do something like that. but in the meantime, we will be creating opportunities for people from your country, as well as many other nations, to get involved in. We will give you more details as we get them, and start to bring the projects online.
Agreed with @mariska.lubis. It will be very helpful if you, @starkerz, @ned, and @stephankendal could come to Indonesia for presenting the best about steem blockchain and its benefit for the future. We need people like you all here to join us, at least for once, to open the 'eyes' and increase their insight about this. :)
The solution that we need is to bring back Steem blockchain as a way to share the best thought for living, and I think that is the Proof of Brain is all about, to present Steem as reward including for promo-steem.
The promo-steem activities are not the reasons to get rearward, but the reward is given for giving high quality promo steem. They are the one who deserve to get rewards, including steem delegation.
Let's meet to shake this world with Steem blockchain, and that is the moment when investor's wave will come to us, not with the promise to get profit but since the world is moving for a better, including for investors.

I can't wait to get some of these projects rolled out. Guys like you who really understand how valuable this kind of thing is will have a field day getting stuck into some of them, of that I'm sure. Now the really hard work has already begun of bringing these projects into the ecosystem, setting them up and getting them working efficiently. It's very exciting, but I don't think I'm going out and having a social life anytime soon....! :)
