RE: Is there business behind the war?

in Project HOPE5 years ago

Greetings, @josevas217! It is an interesting subject but at the same time complex. I have always heard that many profit from war; sometimes with economic transactions of raw materials, food and supplies, mainly aimed at preserving the life of the population and providing aid to those affected by the war conflict. However, speaking of the arms issue, I can already understand that it is the most lucrative activity with a double meaning, which is above all other interests. Other aspects such as the distribution of territories and the seizure of natural resources, such as: Oil and minerals, also play an important geo-political role in the context of wars. Hence, wars have always been a business for some sectors and with the passage of time they always will be. Hopefully one day this will change; Either the war negotiation ends or the wars end, either of these two options would come in handy.

Geopolitics is something that marks a pressure here, because the support that some powers provide to some countries is more for interests of this type than for anything else. It is an aberration, but it is real, and as you say, it will hardly end.
