European Blockchain Convention 2025
The European Blockchain Convention (EBC) will take place on October 16 and 17, 2025, in Barcelona, Spain. This event is seen as the most important in Europe within the evolving world of cryptocurrencies.
More than 6,000 attendees and nearly 300 speakers are expected to gather, creating a perfect environment for networking, investing in crypto, and discovering upcoming trends.
This convention brings together venture capital funds, major exchanges, conventional financial institutions (TradFi), and decentralized projects (DeFi) to define the future of the crypto sector.
The exhibition area covers 3,000 square meters and will feature numerous panels on the following main topics:
MiCAR Regulatory Framework: The launch of the Market for Crypto Assets (MiCAR) within the European Union.
Real Asset Tokenization (RWA): The transformation of tangible assets, such as properties or bonds, into digital tokens and their foray into capital markets.
Stablecoins and DeFi: Stablecoins, already under the microscope at MiCAR, their upcoming role in the payments universe, and their relationship with decentralized finance.
The event will also host a "Startup Battle," where 50 promising startups from the Web3 ecosystem will showcase their ideas and projects to hundreds of investors looking for the next "unicorn" company.
In short, the convention offers an opportunity to understand how the construction of financial and digital systems in the crypto space is projected to take place in the near future.
