For a few days I have had a personal annoyance with myself for not saving properly, every time I went to my Binance account to review and make some trades, I realized that I had almost no capital there. And it bothered me a lot because I use that platform a lot as an income generator and almost as a wallet.
So, in the month of August with the multiple expenses that I have had and the little turnover that I have been able to obtain despite having produced a lot of work, I have seen myself in an emotional and financial decline that affected me a lot.
With which this weekend I meditate on it, I sat down and focused on what I did and did not do well with the money that was coming in. I have always used the philosophy of "Money in Bolívares, Useless Money", so whenever I receive a payment in Bolívares I buy the basics of the house (if necessary) and Cryptocurrencies.
Once I started doing this personal analysis, I noticed something; posting daily on Steemit is generating a passive income in cryptocurrencies that I had not realized before. I think my last PowerDown to withdraw money from the platform was in January or February, I do not remember exactly and it was because I wanted to withdraw from the platform.
When I returned to it, I invested some money to have more voting power and to improve my income. However, it wasn't until I was part of the Knitrias Project led by @Leveuf and @Knitrias that I started to see him "cheese on toast". I started generating higher dividends and all for the primary purpose which was to increase my SP.
August goal was to reach 1,000SP target which I doubt to achieve in August. But that without a doubt I will overcome in September, where I aim to reach 1,500SP.
I have been saving indirectly as far as I am concerned, this by having the opportunity to grow financially here at Steemit. I started with about $10 in my account and I already have about $170. If this led to my Binance account, surely I would not have that capital, due to the temptation to withdraw it to make a purchase of something.
Without a doubt, Steemit helps in multiple ways and many times we do not realize it.
