It's actually really astonishing about his reason for taking such decision though but I'm quite sure NASA will actually be working more on their replacement and there is also possibility of urgent promotion of their staffs.

Good luck to the chairman and I hope he'll be able to make more impact after taking his leave from NASA and I also hope the organization will also compensate him for his efforts while he had been with them.
