How does technology drive humanity?
Hello friends of the steem community, a special greeting to all the members of the community of the esperanza project.
On this occasion I want to share with all of you an opinion post related to the way in which technology seems to guide us on a path that does not seem autonomous from the point of view of each individual, however perhaps accompanying this principle of technological advancement with the necessary social ethics and argued in an honesty based on the sources of power, then perhaps at some point in the history that we live writing as humanity we can regain the course and control over a more autonomous and less manipulated path.
All progress is focused on the needs that arise in our society given the lifestyle that we are adopting as certain changes that to some extent already seem irreversible are taking place and adjusting. A clear example of this is in the fact of conceiving the current lifestyle without taking into account the progress we have in the digital world.
It may be necessary that we think about all our most common activities, that is to say those activities that we perform daily and take account of which really have a dependence on technology and which are not, surely after doing this practical exercise we will come to the conclusion that almost all our daily activities if not all depend heavily on technology, especially that technology that is associated with digital, artificial intelligence, robotics and essentially any component that facilitates our most common tasks, which is why we must assume the current and future time as a time in which we are conditioned to the use of technology but largely in our most circumstantial reality we see it as a necessary evil.
Conclusion
Is everything bad in the way of technological progress?
Logically I would say that not everything is bad, however we have to recognize that although technological progress and its constant adoption provide us with benefits at the time of assimilating a lifestyle full of comforts, there is a counterpart that we must also analyze.
The fact that today's society has not found a balance of social equality, of environmental sustainability on our planet, the fact that there is no guarantee for every citizen to have a guarantee to disclose their privacy on social networks, makes us think that there is an ethical and moral sense in which we have to move forward as a society so that technological and even scientific progress truly has a genuine benefit and that we really do not feel that there is a control in the direction of a controlled path in our lifestyle.

technology gives us the opportunity to be better in almost all aspects of life and although there are many people who isolate their behaviour it is more a matter of comfort for them, from my point of view technology is a great tool that many people don't want to use properly.
Hello @carlos84, One of the fundamental points that I take from your post is the open possibility that exists of having our style of life conditioned by technological advances and their inclusion in our routines to the point of dependence in many cases, I think that at some point the human being you must stop to meditate on this and rectify.

Technology is a very interesting topic, certainly we are immersed in it daily and the more time goes by, the more we need to be technologically updated. Not everything is bad, but many times this technology takes us away from what is truly a gift for us and that is our humanity and socializing as the people we are and not always because of technology and electronic media.
