SAY NO

There's lots we want to do in life - things to accomplish, places to go to, people to spend time with. And yet we always seem to be running short of time to do the things we want to.

Why? Cause we're spending the time, doing things we don't want to. One is not talking about things one must do for sustenance, though even there it would be amply better and more efficient if we could find joy in what we do or find a way to make money out of what gives us joy.

But there are things that we take up simply cause they are offered to us or cause we don't want to upset someone or cause we're operating from scarcity - today it's been offered to us - tomorrow if it's not then - FOMO.

Chuck all this. We need to ask ourselves - do we really want to do this, will it help us come closer to our goals, will we learn and grow from doing this, does it get us excited and enthusiastic? If we can't answer yes to any of the above, then just say No.

And remember it's our life. We're here to make ourselves happy, fulfil our dreams, not please others.
