Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, Blosstuch shippers of all ages, this has been something I have been wanting to do for the longest time. I am, of course, referring to a timeline of what I can easily consider to be the greatest color-crack Rowdyruff x Powerpuff pairing of all time, Butch x Blossom or Blossutch. I cannot begin to tell you all how excited I was to make something like this, as it took me a great deal of planning and inspiration to get this done. With that said, let us delve into how Butch and Blossom came to be as a couple from bearing puppy love as children to growing closer together as pre-teens to being in a more established relationship as teenagers to marriage with children as adults.

Kindergarten (February 14, 1999)

As a six going on seven-year-old boy, Butch had a tough guy reputation to uphold, as he did not want anyone to see his slightly softer side. During his time in Pokey Oaks Kindergarten, five going on six-year-old Blossom would be initially peeved by him considering how much of a ruffian Butch was from pounding Floyd and Lloyd for provoking him and even giving Mitch Mitchelson a wedgie to even sticking with Brick to strike terror to anyone who dares mess with them. Even more so, Butch would have the tendency to annoy her by throwing paper balls at her as a means to get under Blossom's skin. Blossom sort of knows what is up with this particular tough Ruff because she was savvy enough to tell him to cease and desist with the peeving.

It all came to a head one fateful day on Valentine's Day in 1999, just three months before graduating Kindergarten, that Butch decided to reluctantly pluck up the courage to show how he really felt about Blossom. This was not so easy for him, for deep down he admired Blossom because of her intelligence, poise, and just how she managed to keep herself so pretty regardless if she was annoyed with Butch or if she was proving herself to be a worthy combatant. People may not have known it but Butch was head-over-heels for Blossom even though he knew that his whole tough guy reputation was at stake.

So, Butch picked up lavender, a pink daisy, and a tulip from his mother's, Miss Bellum's, garden and soldiered on to Pokey Oaks where he would finally prove to Blossom that he is not all that bad. It was a good thing that he took Blossom into a playground corner where no one could see the both of them. Even in spite of that, poor Butch was still so nervous to tell Blossom how much he liked her, as he hesitantly gave her the flowers. It also did not help matters that his face was as red as a tomato knowing that if Blossom dared tell anyone about his admiration for her, he would be history. Blossom, being very intuitive and perceptive, found this deed from Butch rather amusing, as he stammered and eventually shouted, "For....you....Blossom. THEY'RE FOR YOU, BLOSSOM, HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY! I REALLY REALLY LIKE YOU SO MUCH!"

Blossom was taken aback by what Butch did and accepted the flowers as her Valentine's gift. She reciprocated by giving Butch a hug and giving him a peck on the cheek, as she went back to play with Buttercup, Bubbles, Bunny, Robin Snyder, Julie Bean, Mary, Kim, Kristen, and Clara. Butch's face was still as red as a tomato but at least that peck on the cheek was a nice reminder that Blossom liked him for who he is. Ergo, Butch was essentially a tsundere with a really hard outer shell and a soft center on the inside which he did not want anyone else to see but Blossom, thus making this relationship start off with a crush from Butch's side and an affirmation of reciprocation on Blossom's side.

Grade School (Summer 2003)

A few months before starting the fifth grade, eleven-year-old Butch has gotten a lot more accustomed to expressing himself and being unafraid to show his more sensitive side, especially considering that his loyalty to Team Xtreme continued to be as strong as ever as the group's muscle and second-in-command. He even decided to give his hair a makeover, so, it was farewell cowlick and hello spiky hair, which he maintained all the way up until now. However, there were times that Butch was sick and tired of feeling like Brick should have the final word in everything they do not only as a superhero team but, most importantly, as brothers and he was sick and tired of following him around like some lapdog instead of being his own person. It is true that Butch was gifted with incredible strength but when it came to controlling and being himself, he had yet to learn a thing or two about that principle.

This was also the time that a form of puppy love occurred between him and Blossom, which Brick, Buttercup, Boomer, Bubbles, Mitch, Bunny, Mike, and Robin were extremely supportive of their growing relationship. Whenever Butch was around Blossom, he felt free to tell her anything and everything that is eating at him. Whenever Blossom was around Butch, she felt like she could have someone accept her for her occasional flaws and feel respected.

It took place one day at the Townsville Municipal Park, where Butch and Blossom were taking a stroll while doing other physical activities like track-and-field, throwing a frisbee, martial arts, and wrapping everything up with tai chi, since Blossom was really gifted at this and passed her skill on to Butch. As they sat on a bench to rest, they told each other how happy they were being together. Until Butch finally pointed out to Blossom that she was a million times better than Brick would ever aspire to be because she was smart, diplomatic, articulate, and does the one thing that even Brick could not accomplish with flying colors and that was actually listening to Butch. Blossom finally understood where Butch was coming from and inspired him to be his own person and not what Brick wants him to be. Butch has never been so grateful to have someone as savvy as Blossom actually listen to him and give him really good advice.

At the end of the day, Blossom talked things out with Brick, seeing how much Butch loves him as his own favorite brother. Being the favorite brother that Brick is, he made sure that Butch does his own thinking and even promised that he would be less bossy towards him and Boomer. Therefore, Butch has fully acknowledged his own sympathetic side, was proud of himself for accomplishing the task of being his own person, and he could not have done it if it were not for Blossom's aid and attentiveness. Moreover, their relationship went from puppy love to admiration.

Middle School (September 2005)

Thirteen-year-old Butch and twelve-year-old Blossom continued to grow as a couple even throughout their year in the seventh grade where they would encounter subjects that Butch had a hard time on, especially mathematics.

It was a great thing that Blossom ended up being Butch's math tutor, as she gave him tips and tricks on how to go around with squaring and cubing numbers, giving the numbers their square and cube roots, algebra, and many other topics. Absorbing all that Blossom has taught him, he was able to go through the math problems with ease. In one math assignment, Butch was able to show his skill in squaring two to three-digit numbers to Blossom and she could not have been more proud of him.

This also came into effect in their math test, where Butch passed with flying colors by getting an A- on it. After all of the barely passing to miserable grades he got in the math quizzes throughout the seventh grade, Butch finally overcame his problem with math thanks Blossom's encouragement. This got to the point where his teacher was surprised that he could answer the questions really well and he knew that Blossom had a hand at helping him get over his mathematical anxieties.

High School (Winter 2009)

All throughout High School, Butch and Blossom have been heavily involving themselves with various extracurricular activities aside from continuing the legacy of being Townsville's finest superheroes of all time. Butch was involved in several sports such as wrestling, soccer, football, basketball, water polo, karate, swimming, and track-and-field. Blossom was involved in karate, judo, kendo, battojutsu, kung fu, journalism, the French club, the Spanish club, the politics club, the fine arts club, the chemistry club, student council, photography gymnastics, track-and-field, volleyball, the music club, and the literature club. However, out of all the extracurricular activities, Butch had an affiliation with wrestling and Blossom was an active member of the journalism club covering sports, the arts, and the sciences by being the principal photographer and journalist. This was not just because they were giving each other moral support in their respective fields, what with Butch showing his wrestling skills to Blossom and Blossom giving Butch really good publicity in Townsville High's official magazine, thus placing him in the front page, but they also had to build up their credential in their chosen fields once they get to Townsville University.

Their relationship as boyfriend and girlfriend really reached its peak when seventeen-year-old Butch and sixteen-year-old Blossom were in the eleventh grade. As one can tell, Butch hit a growth spurt when he started high school and because of all the physical activities and his naturally superhuman strength, he developed more muscle. Moreover, Blossom also grew taller and more elegant in her teens, as boys wanted to date her but her heart was always going to be with Butch.

One instance was when Butch participated in the Townsville High wrestling tournament with Blossom being in charge of photography and covering the event on that day. Since Butch was the MVP of the Townsville High wrestling team, he was basically the one who led Townsville High to win the house cup against Citysville High and many other rivaling schools. Keeping true to his nickname of "The Baron of Berserk" which had the initials of "B.o.B", Butch essentially eliminated the competition to the point where the wrestling team MVPs of the rivaling schools at first feared him because of his animalistic instinct, fearlessness, and superhuman strength but kind of learned to respect him as an eventual friend. Blossom was indubitably proud of Butch to the point of taking a good picture of him flexing his bicep for her camera. That very pose also made it to the Townsville High Magazine and established Butch as a wrestling hero.

This went on until May 2011, where Butch graduated with honors, won the best athlete in wrestling, basketball, football, soccer, water polo, and swimming, and garnered the best student in mathematics, science, music, and English. Meanwhile, Blossom graduated as the valedictorian, was awarded the George Washington award for best in character and leadership, won best athlete in karate, kung fu, kendo, judo, volleyball, gymnastics, and battojutsu, won Journalist of the Year, and garnered best student in mathematics, science, English, French, IT, Spanish, history, and music.

College and Eventual Marriage (March 6, 2012)

In September 2011, nineteen-year-old Butch and eighteen-year-old Blossom attended Townsville University with Butch specializing in mechanics, engineering, and fitness and Blossom specializing in chemistry, political science, and journalism. Even with their different courses, Butch and Blossom continue to have a wonderful, stable relationship to the point where got down on one knee and asked Blossom for her hand in marriage. Blossom was initially speechless but she accepted his proposal and were engaged.

Butch's and Blossom's relationship as an engaged couple flourished until it was found out on February 2, 2012, that she was pregnant with their first child. Butch and Blossom talked it over with their respective parents, Mr. Green, Mrs. Bellum-Green, Professor Utonium, and Mrs. Keane-Utonium, and they knew how much the two of them cared for each other and how well they have worked together, thus seeing their maturity in this situation.

Finally on March 6, 2012, twenty-year-old Butch and eighteen going on nineteen-year-old Blossom were happily married. It also helped that they had their spring break was practically their honeymoon in Marseille, somewhere Blossom wanted to go to ever since she was young due to the fact that she was and still is a Francophile. Even when they were married, they managed to complete their college courses rather well.

The icing on the cake was that Blossom gave birth to their first daughter on December 20, 2012, by the name of Bernadette Azalea Green. To this day, they considered her birth to be the greatest early Christmas gift they could ever receive.

Their Lives Today (2019)

Butch and Blossom continue to be the strong dynamic married couple that they are. With Butch being the strong, tough, rough muscle husband and dad and Blossom being the gorgeous, intelligent, articulate athlete wife and husband, they have certainly made a wonderful household.

Their children are six going on seven-year-old Bernadette Azalea Green, three going on four-year-old fraternal twins Brendan James Green and Blake Francis Green, two going on three-year-old twins Bradley Oliver Green and Belle Marguerite Green, two-year-old sororal twins Brenda Katelyn Green and Belinda Kiara Green, and one-year-old Barbara Abigail Green, and they have taken up their parents' traits to the point of emulation.

Epilogue

And there you have it, ladies and gentlemen, the timeline history of Blossutch, a relationship that started off as a childhood crush, flourished into something more genuine and completely bloomed into marriage. I hope you all enjoyed this look back into the past and landing to present and I will see you all in the next submission. Take care and have a great spring.
