And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, and to them who have been marked out for His purpose (Romans 8: 28)

Most of us see historical things, but we don't know what they mean or their implications. Rome, the Capital of Italy, has many of such monuments and lessons for us.
One such monument is called the Arch of Titus, a very popular historical monument, like the Eiffel Tower of Paris, which has many replication and copies in many countries of the world including my homeland Ghana.
General Vespesian with his Roman military power laid siege on Jerusalem in AD 70, in order to quell the Jewish uprising against Roman rule, when news came that Emperor Nero has committed suicide. The Vespesian immediately put his son, General Titus in charge of the army and left for Rome as he was in line for the throne.
General Titus conquered Jerusalem, destroyed the Jewish cherished temple and bolted away with treasures and wealth of God's house and Jewish people, as Jesus prophesied. To celebrate the destruction of Jerusalem, its temple, and Jewish people and to honor the great General and the crowned prince Titus, a monument was raised in his name, the Arch of Titus. And on the stones of the arch, they depicted the treasures the carried to Rome - the silver and gold trumpets, vessels, the golden table for the Show Bread, the Golden Lampstand with 7 branches (Menorah), etc. The arch came to symbolize the death of Jewish nation, the destruction of Jerusalem and God's House.
But after 2000 years, the Jewish nation, and Jerusalem resurrected, and became a new nation and people.

The Jews wanted a national seal and emblem, which would stand for their resurrection and faith as God's covenant people, and among the symbols of their history, the chose the Menorah.
But there was a problem, they didn't know how the original looks like, only its description in their Torah. And guess where they could get it from? Rome, the Arch of Titus, well preserved for the people of God
What the enemy meant for their loss became their gain, what was meant for their evil worked for their good, and what stood for their destruction and death became their birth and resurrection.
Titus helped fulfilled God's prophecy, but did not destroy God's prophetic destiny for His people, for they have been marked out for God's purpose.
The Arch of Titus is therefore a proof that anything the enemies would meant for your destruction, disgrace, death and evil, because of God's prophetic destiny and purpose for your life, would tend out for your deliverance, your redemption, your promotion, your progress and your restoration, because Yahweh has marked you out for His glory. So don't panic and don't fear.
Joseph confirmed this to us when told his brothers, you meant it for my evil, but Jehovah God also intended it for His divine purpose, the salvation and deliverance of multitudes, nations and generations to come.
So as you go through the business of living life, be assured that because the Lord our God has marked you out for His purpose, whatever the enemies of God and Jesus are doing against you would in the end turn out for a happy outcome, because He would use it to accomplish His purpose in your life for His glory.
