Historical of Polygamy
Historically, society accepts men's polygamous character. People don't see anything wrong.
Therefore, it is convenient for the community to store more than one wife or another woman for sexual pleasure. Men only enjoy the advantages of their powers and protect these traditions.
Men like to keep harem, because historically men are stronger than women and they use this power to enjoy themselves.
If women have the power and access, it is not that they will not do the same thing. At least I'd love to be surrounded by manly men. But we don't have women historically any power, and we want to be attached to a man who doesn't practice this culture more physically and mentally.
I believe that men will continue to do so as long as society accepts men's harem culture. Because they generally enjoy polygamy.
