A voluntarist believes that use of force or coercion is not acceptable. This fundamental principle is violated by the state when the vote is used to force everyone to live under the same rules and gives the parasites at the top a largesse to skim off of. The larger the voting base, the larger the haul for the parasites milking the system.

This is what crypto is designed to ameliorate. In the future, nation states will be replaced by dapps and borders will be meaningless. During the transition, nations will be forced to compete for its "citizens" until it's understood that the idea of a nation-state is obsolete. Much like the situation in the early 1900's when cars were first coming out, it will take bureaucrats a while to figure out that horse straps should be replaced by a steering wheel (national boundaries replaced by dapps).
