Nancy Pelosi is back in the driver's seat as Speaker of the House. Since the Democrats won election, it was a foregone conclusion the Democratic House would be run by Pelosi.
Her return comes at a time when the Democrats are a weakened party.
The present battle with President Trump is showing how maligned they really are. Trump is taking the issues to the Democrats and holding up strong. Even his announcement to withdraw troops from Syria is showing how liberals love to kill people overseas.
Make no mistake, the neo-cons are not the only ones who love war.
