Madonna Wants to Blow Up White House?

in #politics7 years ago

It is interesting that Madonna, the woman that received the "Woman of the Year Award" at the 2016 Billboard Women in Music event has taken a rather horrible stance on newly sworn in President Donald Trump. Anyone that has followed Madonna's career at all will probably remember her pulling antics at each election against one candidate or the other but has she gone too far this time? Citing violence at the White House building, where President Trump, as with most presidents, will reside during his time serving as the President of the United States. Madonna started the speec with the statement, "Welcom to the love revolution."

The, nearly 60 year old, singer/song writer and part time actress gave her thoughts on blowing up the White House at the recent Women's March in Washington. CNN and MSNBC were covering her appearance, statements and actions till she began slipping in swear words that cannot be said on TV, at the time of airing anyhow, at which point they pulled coverage of the speech. This occurred allegedly at the mid speech mark. Seemingly knowing that live coverage from mainstream media would be pulled after repeatedly using the words "Fuck You" Madonna stated this - "Yes I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House..."

What is interesting is that this little comment is carefully placed between chant sandwiches with the crowd. This is probably done to "get it by" the average listener/participant at the event. Politicians use this tactic all of the time to cover their butts on certain things that could be taken badly by the attendees.

Another interesting point is that Madonna did a "loving" and "positive" sandwich with the statement. She claimed happy go lucky things then made the statement and then went back to happy go lucky statements. This is a business tactic used to make those around you accept the bad points without thinking about them.

Nothing will come of this though. No investigation. No apologies, no repercussions against Madonna for this statement. Why? Because she will simply claim that she is a singer/song writer/artist that is expressing her feelings publicly. If a normal person were to say that same sentence then they would be in jail or at least have trouble getting home from that event without an investigation already beginning.

I have nothing against people peacefully protesting and standing up for their rights, or the feeling their rights are infringed upon. So far though, President Trump has done very little with his new presidential powers yet everyone is freaking out like he just declared Martial Law across the United States.
