The media and slavery

The media in the slave society play the role of catalyst and broker of ideologies, i.e., are also a tool for the manipulation of consciousness. Except this feature, the media constitute a serious threat to mental health. A large stream of news and other information given in non-stop mode and have no relation to this person, leads to schizophrenia – splitting of consciousness.

The person needs to be aware of the threats and dangers only close to himself, concerning himself and those in his circle of interests. The flow of information about tragedies, disasters, murders and other negative, what is happening on the other end of the globe and not having any consequences for the individual, leads to the fact that a person is forced apart from close to him of dangers to be aware of and those which to him are irrelevant. So there is schizophrenia. Because it is considered an incurable disease – because no one pays attention to this flow of information as the source of mental illnesses. But the only thing that creates and changes the psyche of the individual – this is information about the environment.

In the case when the psychic system of a particular person can withstand the onslaught of the media and is not included in the schizoid, the person is still mentally ill because I have a hard to filter the information that leads to a sharp decrease of empathy – sympathy for another in trouble. So there cruelty and sadism. In addition, enhanced filtering will inevitably lead to extreme suspicion, which can turn into paranoia.

With the development of mass media increases the level of psychopathology in society. It is known, for example, that in the first half of the XIX century 1000 population in various Western countries had 2-3 of mental patients, and in Russia – 1 patient, i.e., about 0.1-0.3%. In the first half of the XX century, 50 years ago, the level of mental illness in Russia ranged from 2-3% in rural areas to 6-9% in the cities. After pouring into Russia 25 years ago thread base, schizoid information, from advertising to pornography, the level today is already close to the level of 27-30%.

This statistic correlates with the development of media and cities. Their development causes an increase the flow of diverse UNNECESSARY information that destroys the integrity of thinking. Increasing the availability of diverse information leads to increased rates of mental illness in General.

Schizophrenia has a "risky age" in the range of 15-45 years, i.e. the period of most active absorption of information. Knowing the origins of schizophrenia, now it becomes possible to cure this disease and many other mental illnesses just full restriction incoming information. It is possible that the growth retardation in recent time is a consequence of the transmission of mutations inherited. Research may reveal a creeping schizophrenia have one or both parents oligophrenic.

In a free society the role of the media is to a professional exchange of information and local news. The free man does not need information about what another American psycho was shot by his fellow school or University. This is the information for mental health professionals.
