Has genocide war been able to solve the scramble for Africa by Africans?

in #politics6 years ago (edited)

Gone are the days when Africa was served on the table of the Westerns but time and seasons has evolved. The table has been turned around, nowadays, the Africans preferred to serve their fellow kinsman for a piece of cake or crumble from the table. This brutal situation has had a lot of negative impact on the growth, progress and sustainability of the Africa as a continent.

Many different versions of the story has went ahead of mine but one truth that they all bear is that Africa was robbed of her pride and integrity on the alter of colonization.
Albeit, she has been exposed and endangered to this several menace which plague her till this very moment by her own people's contribution and the Western forces. However, the colonization enhanced the growth of the soil of Africa but left the essence of the existence of the people to be determined by some incompetent or rather competent but just self interested in their own ways. If it were you, would you have done better too?

Some view point on this issue covering the birth of colonization (post and pre), the Democratic era and the military regime have it that, it is base on the cultural diversities and the quest for economic power or wealth. Which led Africa astray and made her the battlefield and a common ground for killings.
Let me cast your mind on the wars (genocide) that has been fought donkey years ago on the soil of Africa but history is a bitch karma, it will never leave us or our memories, neither will it not be a generational topic for discussion so far we still exist on the planet.

Is it the Rawandan genocide war of 1994 between the Hutu and the Tutsi which took millions of lives (both Africans and foreigners) death toll reaches over 800,000 people (if the figures ain't subsided for public opinion though)
Where rebels groups fought against each other (Hutu and Tutsi), the clash was base on a term called ethnocentrism which means the belief of superiority in one's personal ethnic group, but it can also develop from racial or religious differences. Also, individuals believe that they are better than other individuals for reasons based solely on their heritage. Clearly, this practice is related to problems of both racism and prejudice. Also, it was base on the scramble for power and social and political dominace.

Or how do we forget the struggle of a man called Nelson Mandela who stood for justice and fought against the apartheid society in the then coast of Cape Town now called South Africa.
The twist here is that, it is white genocide. A pathetic scenario where the Westerns segregated the blacks base on the color of their skin.
Meanwhile, another typical example of the genocide war was exhibited bearly 3 months ago, here is the report
Undoubtedly, the concerned (government and the perpetrators) are turning deaf ears to the cries of the public and forging ahead in their dubious act - serving Africa on the table

But today I challenge each and every individuals that breathe the African air and live on the surface of the African soil to speak forth for our homes, shelter, people are wasting away gradually.
For how long, are we going to serve and beg the Westerns for bread? For how long??

What is the essence of war, if it will not bring peace to the settlement? If it will not ameliorate the poverty-stricken people of their standard of living and vanish their fears and threats? Let's not forget that whatever we lay behind will never be forgotten by history!

Meanwhile, here is the word from Edmund Burke - “the only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for the good men to do nothing”
