Indonesian Government Is Trying To Block Our Access To Social Media Again, Why?!
I remember the day when I join the people action on May 21st - 22nd, 2019. The government blocked our access to social media which make me and a lot of people out there were having difficulties to communicate to each other. The reason to stop spreading hoax news was totally unexceptable, only those who have power who have ability to manipulate and spreading any kind of hoax news.
Indonesia at the moment is not in condusive situation. We have problems with politics, economics, and sosial justice. No matter what reasons the government and the media told the world, it is us, Indonesian who understand better and who know exactly the pressure that we have to deal with everyday. If there is no problem, it is impossible that people are fighting against the government. People are killed during the riots and 700 are killed just because of witnessing the elections. More are being accused and sentenced to jail just because talking about the truth and asking for justice, freedom and democracy, clean and fair election.
I am sure none of us would agree that our beloved country are accupied by foreigners. This not about racism and about different religion that makes us fight, but this is about respect and honour. Who would respect those who do not respect us? Who would accept those who are so greedy and corrupt? We all believe that freedom and democracy is the right that we suppose to have to give as well, right?!
Indonesia has more than 237 millions citizen, with more than 300 dominant tribes, 737 different languages, and 6 main religions. Unity in diversity is what we believe for all this years until those greedy people came over to take over our country and manipulate our people to hate and against each other. It will never work, we respect each other. Most Indonesia are Muslim but we accept and respect other religions. It is the conspiracy of greedy people who tried to create the image that we don't accept other religions. You can see that even the mosque, church, and any other religious buildings could stand and next to each other in peace in Indonesia. Only in Indonesia. So it is totally wrong if media or anybody try to provide different perception! That's evil and rude!
Even about women, we are more advanced! We have commander Keumalayati who commanded 100 ships to fight against collonialism in 16 century in Aceh. We have lots of heroins, such as Tjut Nyak Dien, Dewi Sartika, Martha Cristina Tiahahu, Nyi Ageng Serang and a lot more even before this world admit the power of women. We have a lot of CEOs and even women who became ministers before the world have it. Please do not think thay we are primordials! We are rich in everything before others in this world do! That's why a lot of foreigners tried to occupy our country, up till now.
This fight would never end untill we are sure that justice is not belong to those who kiss their ass to the government only, but for all. We will never stop until we get our freedom and democracy is exist without any fears and threatens. Though the government is going to close our access again during the people action on this June 14th, since we are going to wait for the constitutional court result, we will not stop.
You and all people in the world, I believe are not too blind to see and to understand. Just think the reason why the government have to block our access to social media if there is nothing too hide? If they do support freedom and democracy, they would not do this to us. Blocking our access, hacking, and suspend opposition accounts in social media. There is must be something that they would like to hide, and media even international media are too naive to tell the truth! Why?!
I am writing in here to make sure that the world knows what is going on. To make sure that none of us in the future would not have to experience the same thing like we do in Indonesia today. Blockchain may help us to quit from this situation, and we must support each other for that reason. Thank you Steemit and all Steemian from all over the world for providing a place for me to write the truth. For a better world and future, hand in hand we fight together.
I do appreciate all of you who are willing to spread my writing, to the world that have rights to know the truth. Media would not say the same thing.
