WaPo's Latest RussiaGate Story Is an Enormous, Treasonous Turd
The goal here is to overwhelm you with facts and quotes, telling the human side of the response to what precipitated this story without knowing the truth about what started the whole farrago.
This is the worst kind of disinformation. It purports to be investigative journalism but it is nothing but misdirection, designed to shift blame and allow the reader’s imagination and normalcy bias fill in the rest.
The end result, in the case of RussiaGate, is to foment a civil war in the United States and overthrow a democratic election on the grounds that it was illegitimate. And if there was any real proof of collusion between the Trump campaign and Putin’s intelligence services to undermine the election, then I would consider his removal from office.

To clarify, as an anarcho-capitalist, I don't approve of any of this, especially the state hanging people for sharing its secrets. That said, these are crisis times that require clear analysis of what is happening and how to parse what shit they are trying to shovel at you.
They are trying to create an inescapable minefield for Trump where they can indict him on a technicality. This is what Robert Mueller was put in charge to do. And, make no mistake, that is what they are doing. If they can put Martha Stewart in jail for nothing and clap her in an orange jumpsuit they can take down a President.
In fact, this is exactly what they did with Nixon. Nixon didn't help himself, but the crime was thin. The faux outrage was the issue. And it was stoked to a fever pitch. The same playbook is being used on Trump. I say this all the time, these people are very smart but they aren't very clever.
Too many people have been red-pilled for this genie to go back in the box. With Nixon, less than 1% of the country understood the concept of the Deep State.
Today, we elected a President to do away with it.
Either way, this is a very dangerous time that can go very badly if these odious people get their way.

Good times make soft men. The US deep state hasn't had a Geo-political chalange where the opposing power had nearly the same say as they did since the Berlin wall fell in 1987(?) and how strong was the USSR just before that?
And so now the only people in deep state who were working in deep state with opposition are probably baby boomers or early Gen Xers who were just getting started.
A very good point. It's the same one I make about government bond traders under the age of 50. They've never experienced a true bear market in government securities. We've been in a primary bull market in bonds since 1981. Central bank always have their back.
Intellegence guys don't really think they have to work that hard when they have more money and power than everyone else. Same as any other job.
This is an amazing analysis of what is truly happening in this country. There has been a non-stop campaign to discredit the President (and I will gladly admit that I still do not support government) and prevent him from doing his job. Its clear that the deep state is worried about losing their power grip which should worry everyone. We are literally watching the MSM and Hollywood players, through art and media calling for the assassination of a sitting President.
What we have is a system that is collapsing and a distraction that has to happen! Civil war has long been the plan and I believe the country has been engaged in a soft civil war for a few years now. The explosion into a hard civil war will be disastrous and I hope there are far more level headed, aware Americans at the helm when it happens.
I will give Trump an applause however, for he is going hard after these sick pedophiles in DC and I believe this is what they are truly scared about. If the people of the world learned that their leaders where doing these heinous acts to our children.......
