Reminder that banning trans folk from the military is NOT a good thing even if you think the military is bad. This is a world where 5 of the 9 most powerful judges in the world believe in fairy-tale 4chan pseudo-science and decide to strip away our rights.
After the Trans Military Ban, I expect a Trans Police Ban, or Trans Doctor Ban. "Can't possibly do such a stressful job saving lives if you're mentally unstable yourself!" amirite? Reminder the time is up to be on the right side of history.
To all those anarchy-obsessed non-voters, this is the real, material effect of your actions as well. Reminder voting is inherently anti-establishment, especially if you're a minority, as the entire system is built around making sure you don't have a voice to be heard at all.
I can't imagine it feels great to have your country consider you unworthy of senselessly dying for it on the other side of the planet. Especially when I always thought the USA has traditionally loved that sort of thing.
It's blatant institutional discrimination and a sly nod of approval to those who ideologically despise transgender people.
