Trump Says "Take the Guns First, Due Process Second"
This is just breaking, but Trump said this during his meeting with state governors today while discussing gun control.
He is either this stupid, or this is really how this guy feels. If so, he is no ally to true 2nd amendment defenders.
Before people say that the media is "misrepresenting what he said", he doubled down per Zerohedge:
He also said mentally ill people shouldn't have guns.
"A lot of people are saying 'oh you shouldn't be saying that'," Trump said. "But I don't want mentally ill people having guns."
Wow. I find myself defending him a lot against the Deep State, media, globalism and liberal outrage. But I find him to be terrible authoritarian with major statism running through his veins.
His base NEEDS to take him to task for this. The likes of Alex Jones can't excuse these types of comments away.
