ALERT: Family Raided for LEGAL CBD Oil and Kratom
We just got word that a second raid for CBD oil has taken place in Central Texas in the past week. Most recently a family who runs Hill Country Kratom were raided, all CBD oil and Kratom confiscated, the father was arrested, the arresting officers kicked their dog who was so scared he peed himself. The mother brought the children to a safe place just before CPS showed up.
Here is a post from the mother on facebook:
(first image deleted because a woman tagged in it is afraid she will be raided, too and is harassing my family.)
Stay tuned for updates.

We have a Kratom Symposium happening RIGHT NOW at Brave New Books and we are developing a game plan. Please let us know if you want to help. You can call the bookstore 512.480.2503 or email us at [email protected]
I wish I could say any of this shocked or even surprised me. Hope they’ve been in touch with Barry Cooper. How’s your desire to leave the country? Turned up to 11 yet?
Great idea. I will reach out to him!
Catherine Bleish, please REMOVE the names of the innocent parties from your story. Just because someone posted something on someone else's page does NOT mean that you have the right to use Amy and David's names in your story. It's not anything that AMY HAMOUS WILKES posted and your story has nothing to do with her and you are causing her family harm by broadcasting HER name in your story about a police raid. You have NO PERMISSION to use her name in any story and are therefore violating her privacy by doing so. This is covered under section 7.1.4. Violation of any rights of any other person or entity. Remove their names at once, since they are not part of your story in any way.
They were simply tagged in a fb post, that is a violaton of no ones rights.
And not tagged by me lol
Bunch of NONSENSE! Kratom Is NOT even illegal (yet) and already this criminal behavior by the gov't is starting! If you don't know about Kratom yet, look it up. It's all over the Internet these days. Long story short, our ever more serving-of- the- corporate- state government is trying to make a benign and helpful plant leaf illegal due to false claims and sensationalized reports that have said people have died from Kratom alone. In every case where Kratom was found in the system of the deceased, it was accompanied by a deadly cocktail of pharmaceutical drugs and/or alcohol in copious amounts! These erroneous articles also conveniently fail to mention the insanely high number of deaths related to opiate pharmaceutical drug overdoses, alcohol and tobacco related deaths and the myriad of other health problems and deaths caused by so many other legal substances out there, such as children ingesting laundry soap packets, you know, all those things that they don't see fit to outlaw because of the money they generate for the large corporations that have bought off our government long ago. Once again, irresponsible journalism has fueled the lost drug war in hopes that the ignorance of the general population will make for their silence. To say that kratom is dangerous to the population is like saying that taking aspirin or driving a car daily is dangerous. In fact, those two things are so much more dangerous than kratom! Please help us fight to keep this plant legal and available to those in need. The aspects that bother me most are drug addicts in recovery who use Kratom to clean up and stay away from dope and veterans of war who find comfort and relief from the pain that they live with daily! They fought for our freedoms to chose our medicine and now the government is basically telling them to go screw themselves by forcing them back to taking deadly man made opiates to manage their pain! They've already made their choice to stay away from oxycontin, vicodin, morphine or even heroin (because it's cheaper- especially for vets who have insufficient health benefits- I KNOW A FEW) ect, and kratom is the clear winner for them. Well, we say NO WAY to this ban!! There are all kinds of petitions circulating the internet like this one...https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/please-do-not-make-kratom-schedule-i-substance
-I'm asking you to join the fight before it's too late. Even if you never touch kratom, you might very well know someone whose life will be severely affected by this proposed ban. It's only a signature and it only takes a few seconds. It really could help save a life.....or quite literally thousands of lives!!
I hope you realize that by using these people's names(WITHOUT PERMISSION), you are opening yourself up for legal action. You have also now put these people on the radar of their local law enforcement agency and/or the DEA. Nice going!!!!!
Nope, your commet here puts them on that radar. Amy's "i am kratom" posted on her forehead on FB draws more attention to her than a mom who was raided tagging her asking for help. Your comments may have the DEA saying "hmmmmm is there a reason she should be on our radar?" I took the image down but please remember facebook is social media and people WILL see you.
so sad! @freedom
