D.C. pretty much has cops everywhere you go. Not just one or two sitting in a patrol car, but entire hordes of them! It is silly. I'm in Louisiana and I can tell you cops are all over the place as well, just not in big groups.

Wonder if it helps keep D.C. crime rates low.? lol.. be Interesting to explore cause and effect 'more cops = more crime" or "more crime = more cops" Any PhD. candidates out there need a thesis topic? It's all yours... :)

Large state + low population = low police count. There aren't any Big cities on this list until you get to Nebraska, and then not really.
