Finished playing 50 hours of poker in 3 days for the promotion to get $500 for doing so!
Long three days playing poker, but I finished up the time to qualify for the promotion bonus which pays me cash this Friday.
Traveling between casinos to play poker and find offers that provide me with added value in on way or another. Started in Tampa which had a promotion paying $300 for 75 hours of play. This was a good promotion providing bonus money which helps cover the rake for the cost of playing poker. Use these promotions to cover costs of playing poker outside of the game itself such as traveling, food, and hotel stays.

Utilizing such bonuses and comps from playing poker is a way of being thrifty like using coupons and rebates for shopping. Next I went to Foxwoods where I have a membership card that earns me comps while I play and also have free rooms there. Both of these benefits make playing poker more affordable.
Now I am Maryland Live where I completed a first week of playing poker for a great promotion they have going right now. $500 a week for playing 50 hours during the week. Got here a little later than I had originally intended. So I had to play many hours in a shorter period of time. Good this is the first week pay of this promotion will be more than enough to pay for the bus here and to get out of here along with some hotel room stays.
Today I started playing part of the 50 hours for next week. Look forward to getting my first $500 promotion this Friday. Also want to play games other than Hold Em sometime but the promotion is only for Hold Em. So looks like I will only be playing (No Limit) Hold Em for a few weeks. Unless I manage to get all the play time in and have time to play before the next promotion cycle.
Mostly playing a low risk strategy. So am playing more conservatively than usual. Partially for not playing for a while and also to get used to players here. Will open my game up as I recognize and get more comfortable with the games and players and see better spots for doing so. Mostly playing simple poker strategy with pocket pairs and suited Ace hands.
Part of the promotion money will go towards health stuff for improving my health after getting Meningitis.
