As I gazed at the clouds in the sky
I was filled with wonder and awe.
This magnificent picture of beauty
Was matchless and without any flaw.
It was not just the glorious image
Of the mountainous pillows so white,
But the sun shining through like a beacon
Illuminating them with its light.
The light represented our Savior
And the blood that he shed on the tree,
Covering our sins forever
Dying for you and for me.
The cloud without light was our sin.
It was dark and heavy to bear.
But as the light filled that same cloud
Righteousness soon was seen there.
We are now called the righteous,
Not by our works, but by His.
A gift to all the believers,
To those who proclaim who He is.
I realized that all of creation
Holds a truth for us to receive.
He speaks through more than just rainbows
A promise to all who believe.
