Not-to-Begotten Bird, A poem and a Little Bandwidth Rap (Not really, I can rhyme but I can't rap)
Anyone else experiencing the Low Bandwidth Blues? Here is a little poem to lighten the mood and point out there is a ball to be had, with or without bandwidth to play. Leave me a note if you got the digital chisel. My fairy godfather just delivered mine, much better than a glass slipper. I keep breaking those. Somewhere there is a very lost and confused Prince Charming. By now, he must look like a sailor after a two day bender. Goes by a-hoy matey!

Not-to-Begotten Bird
Yes, your cat is the wisest
Clever little glutton
Some days are meant for living
like this very one
So put your pen down and chase the not-to-begotten bird
And tomorrow you can write with a quill made of feathers
ink wet with your overflowing tears

LOL ... cats are violent but beautiful and that is why we are so forgiving. Have you ever had pet cat. I had one ... there was no stopping her. Yes Paul helped me out. He has been holding my hand:)
@prydefoltz - I have a long history with felines that spans two continents with many stories attached but, I can honestly say, I have never had a pet cat.
They are violent yet beautiful and I can accept that. :D
They generally don't hurt the one's they love. There is that:)
I have gotten a few love bites before...on the back of my leg or on my hand while petting them. Purring while biting is usually a good sign. :) Gotta love 'em!
Yes ... I forgot. Some of them do that. I miss the cuddles:)

As I said, poetry is not my strongest part. Congratulations on the book! You will soon find many readers in your niche, look for the poetry tag and comment there. Also, follow tips from @lonestarpoet , looks to know better.

Thanks, Bluemoon. I find the genuine usually offer something original and true interaction. I imagine it will take me a week or so to get to know people. You do have put yourself out there. I have been inviting people whose work I have read and like to visit my page. I hope that is okay. But no, I do not ask for upvotes ... but I have been asked multiple times. LOL On my first day I was using the upvote like the like button on FB ... and so I am pretty much out of upvote power until tomorrow. Paul tells me when you gather enough steem that becomes less of a problem.
Yes, Paul has right. I did the same mistake at the beginning, I worked just like on FB and Twitter. Totally wrong!
I like to show my appreciation but here it must be done prudently, I suppose. Another day I will be up to speed again. I have been advised not to go below 90 percent voting power.

Absolutely loved the poem 😊 it was fun and made me giggle. Cats are such gorgeous little beasties. Have two of them myself. I enjoyed the video too and look forward to reading more. Have you tried recording your poetry and sharing on d.tube? It will help to get your poetry noticed and build a larger following. Its connected to steem.

Once upon a time yes, and currently I suppose my partner made us a virtual cat on Sims...does that count!?! I long for a calico though...meow!
A virtual cat on SIMS ... [chuckle] I should try that out with my son. He currently must make do with a fish that fights his own reflection.
