life is short
expectations loom large
transient notions abide for now
next generations eclipse into shadow
unknowable certainties bring scant recognition
interminable cycles leave lasting indentation
strive on and in and where to next
followers leading circular paths
hypnotised by greed nor fear
released to limitless opportunity
sink back near end all done relax
