Don't let them see
The tear-drops.
You must not weep,
You too must not weep,
You are a strong one.

But if you must,
Then weep in the dark night,
In the weighty night
When the darkness
Coats the tears streaming
Out of your weary eyes.

Then, when morning
Comes,
Wipe them, wipe them clean
And stand tall,
Smiling with the radiant sun,
For a new you
That will sprout
With the freshness
Of a new day!
