Better Days have seen the light
Looking back at times I fright

Grey hairs creeping up my mane
Boys sit and watch cartoons
Raging fires and fumes
Ominous wings spread
Look out for the lion ahead
A rider sets out to the west

This is just my feelings about how people are responding to the hot humid weather. Some really crazy stuff going on. People going ballistic. This teacher in another Provence in Korea went nuts and killed herself in front of a class of elementary school students. Another teacher in a child day care center beat a four year old kid to death. And the ironic thing is Korean people think teachers don't need a summer vacation. They are circulating the craziest petition to the president blaming teachers for stealing tax payers money for taking a summer vacation. If you are Korea please don't sign this petition.

WTF that's messed up. i mean, Daegu is the hottest of them all. My skin is burning at night even because of how hot the air is!!! But I'm not trying to go nuts and kill my self although I do find it easy to blame someone for the weather lol. I don't know how teachers are treated here but a vacation in the summer is definitely a must.

And check this out, @roundbeargames has no ac but he is not going around torturing people. I'm at work right now because the vice principle said it is proper etiquette to stay till 4:40 during vacation time.
From what I understand, the kid were left in the van as other older kids went into the daycare. They left the kid in the van for 7 hours under hot sun. Not to mention a kid, a cow like myself would dehydrate and die of heat stroke.

Funny how bodies can take quite a beating but our minds seem to be the most fragile thing so that whether we get to live forever before our bodies die we have already become dead inside, a lot of it we do to ourselves and some society or even as you show the weather can trigger our minds.
I do think this is when it is of the utmost importance for someone to detach from emotional thinking when they notice outside influences are knocking at the door wanting to come in and shove a splintered stick deep inside them. We make everything worse in thoughts not tended to.

I would like to teach for another 20 years if they don't kick me out before then. I am slowly learning computer languages but i need to work with people. Not sure.

sir mineopoly, you are saying that you want to teach but you are learning programming as a backup plan? what about teaching somewhere in the States?
I am happy in Korea except the summer is a drag. I have a long term plan to incorporate learning technologies into the blockchain regardless of my employment situation.
so that you can earn money whether you are teaching or not? but you will continue to teach if you can.
Interesting writing and the tie in/meaning behind it all, as you mentioned. Sad to hear some of they stuff is happening.
