sinning in some way.

Times in the dark

All the lust that existed
hanging in the air.

Playful and sexy
defying the dare.
Alone but together,
pretending not to care.

The light that embraced you,
you shared with the world.
Humanity and warmth,
selflessly you cared.

That smile in the morning,
first touch of the day.
The shape of your body,
the way that it swayed.

Sadness you disguised
the pain behind your eyes.
The sound of your voice,
dangling in the air.

Cheers to a life
full of love and joy
desired by the masses,
lived by the few.

The pride that I feel
as you walk in the room.
