Rainy Days
I live for rainy days…
Looking up at those steel grey skies…
Over valleys they hang low…
Shedding tears of Mother Nature’s eyes…
The rain looks cold and lazy…
Think I’ll sit and watch the droplets fall…
I don’t care if they call me a jerk…
As the boss I’m the one making the call…
I’ll look out the window and shout…
There’s a pot of gold at that rainbow’s end…
Til my mind is more foggy than clear…
As the darkness of night starts to descend…
