The harbinger's torch
is like a cannon ball coming with ferocity
the bizzare figurine figure
etched to the wrinkled thatch roof,
prognosticates paucity
foretells hunger amongst babes
strapped to their mother's nipples
the sacred streams will scream
at the crashing of the sunset's beam
and valiant hearts shall shudder
tossing aimlessly in a fiery gale
Bring the scythe
and let's psyche the gods
the scimitar and the gory scabbard,
the sky thirsts
and blood shall it gurgle
the earth is esurient
and flesh shall it devour
Bring the cauldron and call the squadron
a flowers shall die with roots
and green stew shall grace the goblet
let the magical steam
from the hissing fire
conflagrate our soul in flames
Herald the moon god's coming
with pipettes and trombones
dragon skulls and sapient's bones
the buzzing sound from the bearded one
calls like a werewolf at full moon 🌙
vultures cawing, the obeche tree
protruding like ghouls in the night skies
with shadows like leviathans
making the stars appear like apparels
still sailing and waiting for a whooshing sound
The body shall float
and the mind shall Odyssey
On a pilgrimage to the stone ages
to kiss the husky ones
and dine with the grizzly ones
the young men shall wallow in trances
and the unborn ones shall bawl in glee.
when the moon gods shall arrive
the nostrils shall speak in queer dialects
and the eyes shall perceive foul odours
all in unison to the moon god's imminence

This has quite the epic feel to it! Considering the topic you're trying to cover, I'd say you've given it justice. Hard to encompass the coming of a deity, after all! I've been meaning to comment on your past posts, but work constantly got in the way until I'm too exhausted to function and then all my tabs disappear. Sorry about being MIA these past days, my friend.
Well definitely it's no problem my friend, you've been super engaging more than I can even expect my friend, I understand your work load too, and I hope you can also post too sometimes, I've missed your posts a lot this past week really, cheers my friend.
And as for the poem I'm glad I could really live up to expectations lol I'm glad you liked it.
