She found love and she wants to shout it out
She wants to hold him, love him, let people see
Show how magical, beautiful, wonderful her love can be
But her love is disgraced, her love is shunned, her love is gross

All her life everything must be hidden
Her beauty was in shadow, her mouth was shut
All words well-thought-out, all actions were careful
She can’t be herself, an act on the table

She had no freedom, her whole life she struggled
But she kept on smiling like she wasn’t troubled
Her happiness was compromised to meet expectations
And alone at night she cried all her sorrow, her sadness, her tribulations

People say it’s just a decision
She tried to follow without any question
She tried coz their happiness is her treasure
She tried, she failed, tried again, she’s a failure

She failed on faking it
Why isn’t she the way they expect?
She is a sinner but not a criminal
But why is she always on trial

She only wants love
She only wants to be accepted
She only wants to be happy
Why is it so wrong to be what you want to be?

How can love be so wrong?
Why is her love discouraged?
God is Love, that’s why they say
But why is her love persecuted?

Should love have definition?
Should love have standards?
Should love take forms?
Should love be biased?

If only the world was perfect
If only she was born like how daddy wants her to be
If only she could force herself to change
If only she could fake it

She found love and now she wants to shout it out
She will hold him, love him, let people see
Show how magical, beautiful, wonderful her love can be
For some, her love is disgraced, her love is shunned, her love is gross

But now she’s tired
Now she’s loud and proud
No more meeting expectations, it’s time to be what you want to be
Coz all her life, she wasn’t she
