If It Were Easy
What's a story without excitement
A war without action
Happiness not permanent
Or love story lacking passion
If obstacles were not on the road
To ensure a worthwhile journey
I probably won't have gratitude told
Cause it will be boring
Challenges are never easy
But some are necessary
Reminding us of how measly
life is without an adversary
I relish the obstacle ahead
Knowing fully well the consequence
But I come prepared
Believing firmly in providence
Can you feel the love tonight?
