WITHIN MY FREEDOM ||| 8th LYRIC POETRY CONTEST - TOPIC "FREEDOM"

Because they tempt the muses to invade the silence,
the value succumbs before everything appreciated,
the mind clouds behind the subtle court,
although thinking like this is not good or bad.

Battle of doubts flood decisions,
lost strength when hope still lives,
Attentive moments to the evident stumble,
latent waiting to see how I sink without remedy.

But the remarkable moment is not long in coming,
that in which everything returns to its place,
because my mind is mine
and everything I think belongs to me.

I watch my steps and not to avoid falling,
I watch my steps so as not to hesitate when I get up,
because of stones the way is done,
but as a climber I have to face my days.

Fearing to spread your wings is not a crime,
tripping alone is torture when you want,
I don't want the seal that approves me
I don't need another voice to sing.

This is my participation for the lyric poetry contest of @felixgarciap which is based on the premise of the word FREEDOM.
