Hearing amplification for the homeless, our

Negative ions, breathe deep

If it's
Too loud
Change the
Channel on the
Radio, smash your
Television with intelligence
You're seeing technological guts
On the street, wires and such, scraped
capacitors, internet selfies transmogrified, oy!
"Drink the intoxicating beverage & forget yourself,
Embroil yourself in drama, imbue yourself with misery &
Reveling in your old traumas, rejoice in negativity!"
Divided & conquered until you become deaf
To the self-proclaimed experts & they
Fade into space-gurgling static.
Drowned out by the profound silence
Of the cosmos screaming about reality
The voiceless voice speaking nothing nonlocally
And in that nothing, everything. In that everything
Some magnetic professor with binoculars
Utters yet utters naught. {Skip back
To line 4! Repeat and then erase,
Rinse & then recite it all, burn
It as incense on the altar
& compartmentalize
The slights and the
Perfections
Until it is
Marred
Beyond

Awesome. Very Ginsberg-esque, and also for some reason makes me think of one of George Carlin's stand up bits - a potent combination. You do a great job at capturing that feeling of being overwhelmed by the sheer intensity of advertising. Reminds me of a couple of my own pieces I'll have to try and dig out soon. Cheers!

Dizziness and confusion is often prerequisite to awareness, comprehension. The modern world is perplexing in the extreme! At least, on the surface. Thanks @belemo.

would love to leave a longer comment, but about to take a much needed long walk, my friend, so only a few notes.
Some of the line breaks strike abruptly, the counter balance of having such a visually engaging aesthetic. Most notable in that last stanza, a few broken thoughts where clarity might suit the message more - even noting that the message is coming through a crippled circuit board.
My interpretation after two reads, just so you can see how a reader's eyes approaches (I know the value these can sometimes hold), the overabundance of both "expert voices" and noise in every medium of today, the blurred bar between experts & hobbyists and the platform that has given voice and credence to targeted campaigns gripping the hearts of many in a renewed snake-oil culture. maybe a minor commentary on the fear of missing out.
and some lines are just masterpieces in themselves; looking at you:

you need to teach me your formatting wizardry :P ...Question whyno love for day 6 what did the poor thing do to you ;) Lastly there is a lot of really great imagery here, I loved it all but for some reason the word sombre sat sideways with me almost like it was wearing a costume pretending to be one of the crowd but was an impostor :P I know it sounds insane but every time you used it I wanted to exile it ...
Hello @ d-pend how beautiful is the poetry that each reader interprets in their own way. For example; This phrase seems eloquent:
Wonderful piece of work with heart touching wording that actually gave me goosebumps to understand the materialistic approach of life.
This poetry have an journey around the money but i really liked the lines which saying as people are living in the negative environment and enjoying it and yes nowadays the negativity is spread in all over the world and which inturn increasing the tensions. And those lines which says as we know the truth but still we have to act as deaf. Thanks for sharing this deep poetry with us. Wishing you an great day. Stay blessed. 🙂
