Daybreak
Passing through darkness,
Without a guide.
Striving to climb out,
To the other side.
Like white glowing blade,
Thru black steaming flesh.
Her screams like bacon,
On hot steel mesh.
Darkness passing thru light.
Darkness pouring thru day.
Your dandelion god is blown far, far away.
They’ll eat your soul if you let them.
Still she whispers in the night,
See me.
Breathing in the light,
Still she whispers in the night,
Feel me.
Shadowed places in the hall,
Couldn’t save her from the fall.
Still she whispers in the night,
Touch me.
Who cries beneath my window?
Who cries beneath my pane?
Still she whispers in the night,
Heal me.
There is a river that flows where her mind once grew.
Softly she cries as if she knew.
Spinning her dreams,
Passionflowers and lace.
Gossamer weaving's of style and grace.
Still she whispers in the night,
Hold me...
