Banquet on Olympus- Captain's Poetry- The U.S.S. Minnowprose
A feast of the soul and mind. Pass the plates and fine silver. For time is limited, but the meal is infinite.
Will you climb and dine with me?
To fall and fry? I think not.
Mans flesh will not run and rot.
Sword in sheath we need not grasp.
Hand in hand we walk and laugh.
Mans' fingers stay strong.
Unleashed our feet move once more
Never to flail, not to fall.
Mans step will not be limited.
Heart full of promise we raise our heads.
Not once shall fall to dread.
United we stand.
Cancerous growths take and hold.
Cells multiplying.
Excise the tumor, slice free the power within.
With insides out, we take our places
At the grandest of tables.
Eat your fill little Man.
I am here to hold your hand.
