Consider the petal
Following the sin
Where bated bouquets
May not enter

I am dry dreaming
As I sleep without
Reality and its blunders

Bruises and blankets
On burned bay leaves
I promised to deliver

The quilled apology
Tells me to say less
And look more at why I wander
