Our Search For Happiness
Will we be happier?
If we are more successful
Drive a faster car
Or live in a bigger house
Everybody wants to be happy
Searching for happiness in their own way
Without realizing that happiness
Is a by-product of the lives we lead
Ironically in the pursuit of happiness
For its own sake
We end up to be
Even more unhappy
Happiness comes a meaningful life
A higher calling
The legacy that we leave behind
In making this world a better place
Happiness comes from our social relationships
A sense of belonging
The feelings of acceptance
Are worth more than what money can buy
For at the end of the day
When we begin to care about other people’s happiness
Only then we realized
We are happy, joyful and contented

Nicely done my friend. I would say that happiness comes from a happening. It is temporary and external and dependent on that happening. In contrast Joy comes from inside. It is lasting where happiness is only for the moment. Joy comes from giving of oneself where is happiness comes from receiving. Again thanks for the good poem
