Happy Birthday Hazem (A Dedication Poem)
He makes friends with eagles
The heart of a scout
It’s one crazy adventure
With Hazem about
He is a true poet
Of pure inspiration
And when he comes to friends
I’m glad he’s one
He stands his ground
And speaks his mind
But no matter the fire he burns
His heart stays kind
He shares a point of view
From another side
An insightful perspective
Others work to hide
He finds his own way
Claims his life as his own
Determined to wander
'till he finds his own home
He gives it his all
In the face of under appreciation
There is an buoyant tenacity
To his motivation
He’s a great kinda friend
And not just cos he stays sober
So he can make sure you get home
Without too much falling over
He’s sincere and informed
So great for poetry advice
And he tells it straight
But puts it ever so nice
To top it all off
Such a trusting guy
Sent me the picture for this post
Without asking why
But then maybe already he knew
That boy might have psychic skills
guess we'll just have to wait and see
If his prophecy fulfills!
Fear ripples through the hearts of the others who gave me permission to do this, back on the one of these i did for the truly wonderful @theironfelix <3, and thought they'd got away with it - ohhh yes my dears, I haven't forgot you already gave me permission ... so when you least expect it ...
