Awesome playgrounds for the little ones.... I am inspired to build
These pods in aren't nests, they're portals into other worlds!
And the day at the mall was actually fun! This is a playground near my dad's home. We went to the movies but the playground was really the main activity! And seeing this thing from far away, I knew we would spend quite some time there... Little homie is now 5, so you can imagine how this place became the center of his attention!
The whole thing was just really nicely built. Yeah it was probably too safe in that sense where playgrounds have become but it was really pleasant to be on such a natural looking jungle gym. From those nest looking thing we went in different directions to different portals that could bring us to different worlds he called "heavens".
They were lava heavens, the sky heavens, the water heaven and so many others that I couldn't keep track... fire, cloud, rainbow...
It really was well built, we had a lot of fun and I was very inspired to make natural playgrounds back home. Even the benches were really fun looking.
Strange thing, there weren't many kids around at all, wherever we went in France. We had just come from England where the people seem to have a lot more... maybe they're less inclined to go out? Or maybe because we just hang out with a lot of family and friend who have little ones when we're in England... and most of them aren't too tied to the domesticated lifestyle our civilized society has become!
Anyway, I had to show you some images from this playground I thought was really cool.
